Who we are

Charles was born in a public house (used by the Salvation Army as an annex to the Homerton Hospital Hackney) in the East End of London. He attended school in North London and completed his early education at East Essex University studying Zoology. He worked for the Medical Research Council at the National Institute for Medical Research at Mill Hill for three years while he continued to indulge his passion for football, playing for three different teams every weekend.

Subsequent to this, Charles spent nine years abroad experiencing life and learning several languages. On his return to London, he became General Manager of a shopfitting company, joined Mensa and crossed the English Channel single-handed in a catamaran.

Charles then started a printing franchise adjacent to Elstree Studios, but three years later decided to re-enter the medical profession. He studied Chiropody with Scholl in London, joined the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists in 1994 and attained his Diploma in Chiropodial Medicine.

His first clinic was in Muswell Hill, North London and he has now been in Marylebone for four years. He enjoys world travel with his wife Naomi, watching football, reading, playing with computers, loves animals and his two grown up children Matthew and Lana.

Naomi has had an exotic existence. She started her working life in Bond Street as a window-dresser in a high-class fashion store, progressing to world famous Furriers. This was followed sometime later by a foray into the Jewellery business where she had her own mail-order company; then arrived at the Diamond trade where she felt very comfortable for a while.

In between, she lived in Canada where she worked as a secretary in a film company. On her return to London she was the Secretary in Thursdays Discoteque in Kensington as well as in Stocks in Knightsbridge. She involved herself in the beauty business by doing both hairdressing and nail-extension courses. She is very interested in people and has met many unusual and intriguing people in her life including Paul Newman.

She will be Charles' right-hand 'man' and believes their combined intuitive powers will overcome all obstacles. Her interests are travel with her husband, gardening, reading, animals and humanity.
